One of Ceredigion's Rural Development Plan under Axis 3 was managed by Menter Aberystwyth. This was a £171,000 project and was completed in May 2011. The title of the project was "Developing and implementing a coherent sense of place in Aberystwyth". At present ten Heritage Interpretation Panels have been created by Trysor along with You are Here Town Panel Maps by FBA. They have been erected around Aberystwyth's town centre. A brand launch was held in the Ceredigion Museum in November 2010.The project was very successful and the benefits for the whole town was recognised. |

Once you have registered with this site you can access the Image Bank - a library of several hundred photographs of Aberystwyth and the surrounding area. These photographs were taken by Guy Taylor a local photographer from Llandre during 2010.
All the images are available as low resolution downloads free of charge for use to support your own promotional activities. High resolution is available from Menter Aberystwyth. Strategic Regeneration Area |

Aberystwyth has been designated as a Regeneration Area (RA) by the Welsh Assembly Government. This designation has been given in response to local needs to help regenerate the town and develop it as one of Wales' key hubs. The SRA team have written an Action Plan for the projects that will be undertaken within the town. The projects must meet one of the following key themes:
